Pasqualoni on what DeLeone is doing:
You read this and you realize that there is literally nothing Deleone could do that would cause Pasqualoni to lose confidence in him. If the man started calling punts on 2nd down, Pasqualoni would find a way to defend it. ("He's really prioritizing field position and not turning the ball over, which are points we think are keys to us being successful").
Anyway, that about sums it up. Trying to run the offense. Please make it stop.
"Well, I think what George (DeLeone) is doing is he's trying to run the offense that we'd like to establish and run here," Pasqualoni said in a conference call last week leading up to Saturday's game against South Florida. "Which is a pro-style kind of attack that's been very successful here, its kind of in the DNA here at UConn. So, George is doing a great job of preparing every day for practice, trying to help the team win, coaching the players, the offensive line, plus coordinating it, so he's working very, very hard.
"He's a tremendously conscious individual and everything he does is planned and well thought out. I think he's working very, very hard and doing what we've discussed, what we want to do here."

Is it just me, or does Pasqualoni sounds like a kindergarten teacher talking to parents who are concerned their kid doesn't know how to handle scissors correctly? You read this and you realize that there is literally nothing Deleone could do that would cause Pasqualoni to lose confidence in him.
