Three man race between Bazz, Ennis and Kane in my opinion.

For those scoffing at Ennis, he scores 12 ppg on 48% efg with a 3.9 a/to ratio. The kid is a special freshman.

I'm biased for Bazz because he scores more, more efficiently and rebounds better. That and where Ennis is solid, Bazz is sizzle.

Kane is a beast. I don't even feel the need to give stats on him.

Man I was really looking forward to a thread with 30+ responses with just "Shabazz Napier"

Yeah my bad. But when the streak was broken I felt like I could actually discuss it. I was laughing as I was scrolling down though.

Haha not your fault. As you said, the streak was already broken when you posted.

Hmmm....is this a trick question? You're asking this on a UConn board?

I'll bite....Shabazz Napier followed by Ryan Boatright....any questions?

Saw Kane for the first time yesterday. He was on the receiving end of a pretty sick alley-oop. Big, strong, competitive kid, was taking it right to Marcus Smart. Finished with 26, 9 and 9 with just 2 turnovers. Helps that he's 24.5 years old. Struggles from the line though (just 64%)... you need your primary ball handler to shoot it better than that in tight games.

I've watched a ton of Iowa St this year because I took them as one of 5 teams in a pool entry. Offensively there isn't a better "big 3" than Ejim Kane and Niang in the country. Iowa state is a dangerous team and you'd be well served to remember them come bracket time. Their big issue is that they tend to get exploited in the paint on the defensive end (Nash last night, Embid last week). If they can avoid dominant 5's in the tourney they'll be poised for a run. Really enjoyable team to watch.

TJ McConnell is a great passer, but Shabazz Napier is better.

TJ should be noted though, a true PG.
