I never thought the expansion of the football stadium was a "running scandal" - what it was was a lot of spending of money that didn't exist, but that would only have been a scandal if it wasn't commonly known (and I was still in NJ then). And a common business practice, but one that I don't think a public university should be engaged in. I never bought that RU mishandled the Rice situation as badly as so often stated - Rice was being closely monitored and had numerous conditions on him.
