As bad as it was at times and frustrating it might have been can we at least say my god it’s not that Edsall offense of your grandads 90’s ground and pound with no wrinkles and was an insult to a vanilla offense.
I agree. Too many people getting worked out because we tried something new.

We didn’t lose because of a trick play.

Interceptions, failure to convert on 3rd, bad passes, dropped balls - those are infinitely more important then a couple trick plays that resulting in no gain or slight loss of yards.
 
These are the worst of the Diaco era bad. Knock them off, please.

How about a simple play action pass? Maybe try a few of those instead.
 
I have alway been a fan of simplicity. Minimum amount of plays but execute them well. Too many OC's try to get cute. A team can perform great with only 10 plays a game if the execution is perfected. There can be a different 10 plays every game but do them right.
