It was not just getting cash to play at Jackson State. This will go one of two ways. 1. After the novelty wears off, this will mostly recede into a minor annoyance 2. There will be more than a few scandals of various sorts and some new system gets implemented to protect everyone. I can foresee some kid who got promised a $1 million in in NIL fees losing it all because he was utterly unprepared for it, or discovering that he isnt getting paid when he gets injured or benched and is no longer a household name or Doesn’t pan out.
