Travel woes for the team

Had to land in Indy... busing to Chicago.

Just read 600+ flights to O'Hare were cancelled today.... 100+ to Midway.

Geno just tweeted that they have been traveling for 9 hours (from Storrs to Indy and now bus to Chicago as Pap said above). Not there yet. Man, what a long day. Hope they can work the travel kinks out before game time tomorrow!

Winter weather can be very difficult to deal with when flying. I am surprised it doesn't happen to the team more often.

A week from today I will be flying out of Hartford to Cancun so weather better be "nice". At least I have a direct flight. My sister, bless her, doesn't have the luxury of a direct flight so has to fly from Omaha to Denver then Dallas then finally to Cancun. She has twice the opportunity for bad weather to delay her travel.

Coming back....I don't care, let there be a blizzard in Connecticut. I can think of worse things than not being able to fly home to winter in Connecticut and be stuck in Cancun for another day or so

Sounds like your sister fails the Harry Chapin test because the going for her is going to suck.
