Personally Silas a little low. Hard to argue the top 4, although I would always take an impact player on a winning team first. Dusty has used the portal really well two years running. I could just as easily see Mara on this list too. His top 5 players if you include TM, are all new.

We'll celebrate Silas' impact in April and he'll get all the recognition he deserves..........he's the total package and these type lists too often focus on a glitzy stat like ppg.

Silas has the scoring, shooting percentages, assists and defense, so I'm happy to wait until year end.........but then we'll probably be worrying about him leaving after only one year!

Swain was totally underutilized by Miller at Xavier. Almost a year ago, my son and I took a little road trip to Newport and we detoured to PVD to take in a PeeCee vs Xavier game. Swain was a bench piece, but my son and I kept talking about how Swain just looked like a player. Passed the eye test. His stats this year - particularly in the last month - are mucho impressive… points/REB/assists/steals. What a great get for Texas.

If you go by EM, he'd be #2.

.-.
Torvik has Silas as a top-10 player in the country IIRC (regardless of class or transfer) and I agree. I think he's #3 and no lower. Maybe I'm a homer.
As a PG who is an excellent QB operating the offense/Limited TOs-Picking his spots for his own shots-And playing disruptive D-Crunch time FTs-Very few lead guards who are impacting their team's success like Silas. The fact that he's a team-first player just enhances that impact. X factor for the rest of our season.
