to include only coaching change or post-season bans. It looks like transfer rule changes are coming but maybe not all out "free-agency" that would allow players to transfer & play right away 1 time for any reason might be limited to letting players transfer & play right away only if current coach is fired or leaves.

So this is either good or bad news for UConn on different levels depending if changes are adopted of course....

- If KO stays & hopefully no post-season "ban" next year then kids can't transfer without sitting out so maybe roster stays somewhat intact
- If KO is gone or a "ban" then kids can transfer & play right away.......probably a mass exodus
- If KO is gone the new coach will only be able to bring in kids that can play right away if they are from a school with a coaching change.

Anyway just food for thought..........with the investigation, KO on shaky ground & the possible transfer changes it should be an interesting spring / summer.

Proposal to let athletes transfer instantly after a coaching change picks up steam

Not sure this rule would go into effect for next year. Might be following year.

Great rule for the kids in general.

but could turn into an absolute train wreck for some teams (cough cough).

On the other hand the mind runs wild about where certain players would land across the country (cough cough).............................

I have never been 1 to speculate though at anything in life. :)

This rule makes far more sense is much more reasonable. It's also much, much better for UConn as a program.

Either way, UCONN should be able to dodge anything if they get rid of Ollie this spring. Doubt this rule would go into immediate effect.
