In his role as Special Advisor to the Commissioner, Tranghese will provide advice and consultation to Sankey and Associate Commissioner for Men's Basketball Mark Whitworth for the purpose of enhancing the overall quality of men's basketball competition in the SEC.

Guys, he owns a consulting firm. His ability to make money is based on his ability to sign as many clients as possible. He has a team and employees, they can handle multiple accounts at once provided they are not in conflict with each other.

Former Big East commissioner Mike Tranghese is busier now than when he was working as commissioner of the Big East. Tranghese was just hired as a consultant for the SEC in making the league better in basketball. Tranghese is already dealing with UConn, UMass, and Providence, as well as the Big 12.
