He owns a consulting firm. Has people working for him. No reason why he wouldn't take on multiple jobs at the same time.

Guys, he owns a consulting firm. His ability to make money is based on his ability to sign as many clients as possible. He has a team and employees, they can handle multiple accounts at once provided they are not in conflict with each other.

This news means nothing for us.
 
Looks to me like Mike T not only does work for the SEC but the B-12 as well...Hmmmm maybe there was a good reason why Herbst hired him.

Former Big East commissioner Mike Tranghese is busier now than when he was working as commissioner of the Big East. Tranghese was just hired as a consultant for the SEC in making the league better in basketball. Tranghese is already dealing with UConn, UMass, and Providence, as well as the Big 12.
