We're number four behind 1. KU 2. UNC 3. MSU

The Huskies have three road games: Georgetown, Ohio State and Loyola Marymount. Coach Kevin Ollie & Co. open with Oklahoma State in Maui, and will likely see North Carolina in the second game. They'll also see Auburn at nearby Mohegan Sun Arena and face a home slate that includes a bunch of decent mid-majors. There's also a date in New York against Syracuse.

What is Dukes ranking? Probably in the 200's? Wells away games anyway.

Funny how many people on this board complained how terrible our OOC schedule is.
The big gripe is no big name home game. Last year we had tOSU and GTown. This year there's Auburn.

Have to agree with this. Our schedule is phenomenal from an RPI standpoint, but lousy from a home game excitement standpoint.

Both are incredibly important in the AAC days. It would be great to strike the perfect balance of both every single year, but that's easier said than done.

Comparing our OOC to power 5 ones is pointless. KU, UNC, and MSU have killer schedules, we don't. What about the overall schedule which is why we have the problems we do at tourney time? Duke doesn't need a good OOC because they play NC, Louisville etc. etc. all season long. Our OOC is our only path without power 5. Our salvation is making the AAC stronger, I don't see another way. Every year we have to have a top 5 OOC.

Maybe that's the most common gripe, but I think the loudest gripe was the mere existence of the LMU game, as though it's shameful for us to even be doing it. Idiotic.

OK State is a must-win!

There is a huge difference in our quality of schedule between beating OSU (UNC, Oregon/Wisc.) and losing to OSU (Chaminade, G'Town/Tenn.).

In fact, our rating as a tough schedule was predicated on winning this game and facing UNC.
