tornadoes, thinking of our brothers in Kentucky

Couldn't sleep last night because the wind was so crazy and there was a tornado warning. I turn on the news this morning and there was over a dozen tornadoes in the South up to the Midwest. Kentucky Governor saying it's their worst natural disaster ever and over 100 feared dead in the state.

Probably very busy preparing for Christmas. I've had a couple near misses with tornadoes including a big one in Joplin, MO.

My brother and his family moved to Kentucky a year ago for his job. He was a half hour away from the biggest one that was responsible for most of the deaths. Said his whole house shook. His daughters large trampoline ended up in the woods and his sons batting cage was destroyed. Metal poles bent over like they were pipe cleaners. Thankfully they were much more fortunate than most and everyone is ok. Said it was a scary night though. Just an awful, awful tragedy. Town 30 minutes away is just gone.
