Can he be the new Rashad 3 pt shooter? He has the potential to be a staple 3 pt shooter for us for the next 3 years +45%

Rashad's going too far, but I've seen a lot dumber posts generate a lot less snark around here. I think Tolksdorf does have potential as a guy you sneak in here and there with an eye toward getting him a couple open threes.

Louisville always seems to have a player or two like that. You're going along playing them tight and all of a sudden some guy pops off the bench and drains multiple 3's. It's a very good weapon.

Be kind. Peter Tork (Torkelson) of the Monkees was a local. His brother even played on the UConn Football team. You can see how easy it is easy to confuse the two.

Dorf was also a comedy character played by Tim Conway, as you might know if you watched Cable TV in the 80's and saw the ad for "Dorf On Golf" 3742 times. Not sure how that's relevant here, but figured I'd throw it out there for discussion.

listen, Kalhoon recruited Torksdorf, Oleander, Wolfe and Boatwright. Torksdorf will take care of the outside shooting, with the other three starting. I don't even think we need a fif starter.
Looks like time for spelling lessons again. If you're going to start a thread on a guy you might want to know his name possibly?

The "snark" is because after an entire thread came out on learning to spell players names correctly, we have a new thread entitled "Torksdorf." I'm not error proof, but C'MON SON!!!!

I kind of prefer calling him Tolstoy anyway. In my book that is a proper alternate spelling as well.

Are we all forgetting that Jim Calhoun called Tolksdorf the programs best shooter since Rashad Anderson last summer?

That still makes me chuckle. JC loved the hard sell.

I should know this, I have a friend who is actually an expert on this stuff. The fork was a revolution in medeval Italy, and the stories surrounding it are hilarious!

Just like there's a magazine for everything, there is probably also a museum for everything. :D

The Great Rashad was banging them down his freshman year, playing in all 33 games averaging 8.2 ppg. Hit for 22 against notre dame (6-9 3s).

What was the question again?

Shouldn't that be Torstoy?

He did go through all of last season without a single turnover, so I guess there's that.

Upon further consideration, I just can't picture Torksdorf as another Rashard Anderson, but maybe more like a Kevin Pottsniggle or Steve Novick.

Wow, a lot of obnoxious elitists we have here. The bottom line from a basketball perspective is I think we have a 6-8 225 pound player who I believe has the ability to be a knockdown 3 pt specialist with continued training. It's this type of player that helped save Louisville this year--and always seems to have an impact during the season. I love this team--we really have a diverse skilled group. Size speed athleticism ball-handling experience chemistry perimeter shooting and depth. I really do not see a flaw with this team if they all come back and pay attention to improving both game and body. And for Leon--I think he has that chance to be a momentum type 3 pt shooter specialist of the bench
