Jordan Hawkins, a Class of 2021, national top-50 shooting guard who committed to UConn on Aug. 7, isn’t expected to switch allegiances, according to his high school coach.

“He’s committed to UConn,” DeMatha Catholic coach Mike Jones told Hearst Connecticut Media. “I do not expect that to change.”

Like it 10x if I could. We know assistant coaches are going to come and go if we're hiring the best people available for the job. Especially if they're leaving for AHC or HC jobs, it's a sign we're developing bench talent too. If we're not losing players because of it--we're fine.

I wasn’t ready to go through dealing with things like this again. We’re not officially back, we’re still rebuilding and haven’t returned to winning anything yet. Absolute bad timing. SMH
