With AK and Koroma graduating we need a PF and likely a backup and another C.

Portal won’t action until mid April but thinking

1. Amari Williams at 6’10” rim protector PF would be good
2 . Pharrel Payne 6’9” enforcer type could work and we get a Pharrel!
3. Saint Thomas - 6’7” but has a motor and a rebound machine - won’t have to get what island he loves the most.

But we have to see who enters the portal but doubt we need a strict AK replacement which high bbiq guys already.

Isn't Amari Williams in the league?

Pharrell Payne idk about.

I don't think Saint Thomas is quite at our level.

unless there is another Amari WIlliams, the one you're referring to played 5 years of college ball and is on a standard contract with the Celtics.

Amari Williams is on the Boston Celtics.

The other 2 guys are seniors and I assume out of eligibility. Although that seems to be a loose constuct these days

Yikes bad post was correcting most ai and did not check this - will have to wait for the two week portal and quick action

I'll be honest my preference would be that our 5 starters are already on the squad Silas Solo Jayden Stewie and Reibe. See if Silas Solo backcourt can be the best in the country bring Furphy and Landrew off the bench find 1 more guy in the portal on the wing and 2 solid bigs for frontcourt depth. In todays era I'd love to see us keep and graduate three guys who maybe havent lived up to all expectations but have been great soldiers for us.

This is a great path to a 7 seed and a 1st round exit

I don't think any of Reibe, Ross, or Stewart has proven they're a capable starter for us. This is UConn basketball, not Providence.

ERHUNMWUNSE is only a sophomore and would make a good bookend with Reibe at Center

We need a beast center that Hurley can pair with Reibe as a dynamic duo. We also need a backup point guard and 2 stud forwards to go either Ross and Stew. Will any of our freshman be good enough to start?

Are we not on that 7 foot kid from Spain anymore? I can't remember his name...but are we out of that/going in a different direction?

Well we only have two freshmen coming in. Landrew will have a chance but I doubt he'll be a starter.

Not going to happen.

Have heard some Duke chatter lately with him.

Aww damn, dude. Do you have to burst our bubble already with a cold splash of reality? Maybe Bobby will show some brotherly love and tell him to go to UConn.

I love Ross, like Stewie

I believe Hurley will bring in a big man through the portal

Donnie freeman from Syracuse
Aiden shrell from bama
Jordan burks from ucf

Those are some of the top 4’s to replace Alex

Stewart started in wins against Illinois, florida, byu, and kansas. His stats don't tell his entire story and his advanced metrics looked great at various points this season. Hes a more than capable 4th or 5th starter on a top 3 seed. Half this board was calling for Reibe to start this year over a top 10 center in the country. I'll concede ross but I'm projecting growth he'd have to show consistent 3 pt ability to warrant starting. I think it's unlikely next year is a season with a true NC upside. At the end of the day we dont project to have a 1st rd pick on the roster next year but with that core I think winning the Big East is very doable and getting a top 3 seed would be in play.
