This is a tough stretch of 3 games coming up with Marquette, ND, and Nova but let's just take them one at a time. Here are my top 3 against Marquette:

1) Keep the ball rolling, the name of the game is defense. Tight switches out to the 3 point shooters, boxing out, active hands with deflections.

2) No forces on offense for both drives and outside shots. For KK, Q and Ice , old school plays like give and go, back doors, inside cuts, and pick and rolls work better. For Liyah, passing it back out, re-establishing position, and receiving the ball back really works.

3) Paige to keep on being Paige from the opening tip. Please don't give up open shots. At 56% from the field, let them fly.

What are yours?

1. Hopefully an easy game, so that everyone can play and prepare of N.D.
2. Our seniors are solid/dependable.... so, let's look for continued consistency from the
entire remainder of the team (I'm not complaining.... Just smooth out some rough edges.
e.g. timing for ICE and Amari and Ines (Q seems to be well into the "good" timing flow).
3. A.A. games from our All Americans... everything else will fall into place ( against the Golden
Eagles and the " GOLDEN DOMERS" aka IRISH

1. Run, Run, Run until Marquette is gassed by trying to keep up.
2. Shutdown defense like they did in the first game.
3. Have a big enough lead so the bench plays 10+ minutes.

1. Remain healthy;
2. Great defense; and
3. Our bench gets plenty of minutes based on the score, not fouls.

1. KK lay-up line works well with plus 10 points
2. keep turnover under 10
3. Bigs reduce lazy turnovers and convert

This team is really taking care of the ball at the guard position and are contesting every shot. They are the best team team the country that doesn't have more than one big and it isn't even close. The more they play the closer they are getting to top 4 to me and the stretch coming up will convince me even more.

1. Marquette will come out hungry so be ready start at full speed
2. Continue to take care of the ball and pass for scores
3 Keep the minutes under 34 for all players especially Paige and AE

My "wish" for the game is to see Amari play in the spot where they have been bringing in Ice to see what she can do with the first team. There will be games where Amari would be the equalizer if she can play without TOs and fouls. She played a solid game yesterday and she will always be the only 6'6 option on the bench.

When, and IF Uconn gets a big lead: Send the subs in one at a time. Let them mingle and play with the starters. This will surely help near the end of the season, WHEN 1 or more of the starters foul out or get hurt.

Q 'n Ice do mingle and play as you say with the starters. Ines got some early minutes last game. We will see against Marquette as for her and Amari.

1) Hold Marquette to under 40% FG percentage
2) Win the battle of the boards by +10
3) Q with +10 points
