After a tough first half but solid, workmanlike second half at Nova, that was a lot of fun to see live, here are my top 3 things for Sunday at home against St. John's:

1) Nika, we noticed. Great job on Olsen and when you score in double figures, we become that much better on offense. Keep shooting from 3, keep driving, and keep popping the pull up.

2) Paige take charge right away on offense by scoring and dishing. 18 shots should be your low in a game from now until April. The future is now.

3) No forced passes, no missed switches, no moving screens.

These are my top 3. Do you have any?

1. Nika keep up the double-double of points & assists
2. Ashlynn getting more chances to hit some 3's
3. Paige goes off for 30+ points

1. Shade gets out of her 0 for last two games 3 pt slump
2. Nika remembers to shoot
3. Where’s the pressure?

1) Ice looking better on defense and gets 10 points
2) Give Amari 10 minutes, may need her size yet in the season
3) Q getting more time and mixing it up inside more & not just bombing away from 3

1. Come out fast and take control early
2. Work on a rotation that works for later games
3. Have fun and win

Yes, this is another opportunity to find that reliable 6th player and I think Geno should give Ines a chance. She has shown her loyalty and moments of talent, albeit at the end of games, but has that toughness and experience needed in the big games more so than Q or Ice. It is my opinion that she should have been used in the ND game when Paige and Nika were out.

1. Ines more meaningful minutes as the PG.
2. Ice and AE control the paint, both ends, and no 3 pt shots.
3. Ash and KK play like they did before the ND loss.

1. A more complete game start to finish.
2. Ashlynn gets her 3-point shot back
3. No injuries

1. All of the above...
2. Spend some time in zone defense... get a feel, communicate like crazy... with Amari in the low middle defending the hoop.
3. Encourage Amari -- in her 10 minutes of showtime -- to foul out. (I think it would be interesting to see her... a) play very tough, b) ... very carefully, and c) tough enough to get a few fouls called. Not flailing, out of position fouls, but tough, body-on, agressive, defense fouls. Did I mention fleetness of foot?

I’m focused on Q for this weekend. Here’s my 3:
  • Q scores in double figures
  • Q gets 2 steals
  • Q blocks 3 shots
This is my dream for her and the team. She can do all of these things.

Paige back to her normal happy self!
lce continuing to improve.
Ash & Nika with 3 threes each!
