After a very physical game against Seton Hall, and a super-hero performance by Paige, here are my top 3 things against DePaul:

1) Geno got red in the face about our defense against the 3s at Seton Hall which we could see from our seats, so it would be great to see only highly contested shots from the arc by DePaul.

2) Ash to get back into the rhythm of the offense and more importantly, to get through the screens on defense so she stays in the game.

3) Q to focus on the defense again and to get out on transition and Ice to get back to improving the ball handling after a slight step back against Seton. For both of them, it was never going to be a straight line up but we are going to see a new break out game from Q very soon and more solid play by Ice.

Let's put this one away early. What are your top 3?

1. A nice "balance" of a lot of KK and a lot of Ash!
2. A continued "evolution" of ICE and Q!
3. " All for ONE, and ONE for all": our swashbuckling seniors
continue their UCONN chemistry: Aaliyah, Nika, and Paige!

Again, no injuries. And when we go up by twenty points get the subs in there. 1. To give them game experience and, 2. To give the starters a rest.

-For reason's I don't understand, particularly in the 1st Q last game, Shade was wide open several times and didn't get the ball. Hopefully this changes.
-Nika often tries for a perfect pass when good is all that is needed. Beginning the last game with a turnover was a poor way to start a game. The issue is not the number of turnovers, which I believe is trending positively for Nika, but getting into the habits we need for the big games coming up.
-Nika to make 50% of her shots. She was hot in previous games. Would be helpful to see her start a new streak.

1. No injuries
2. ICE back on track improving each game
4. No unnecessary fouls from KK, Nika and Q.

1) UConn +50% from behind the arc
2) Hold DePaul to less than 35% from behind the arc
3) Freshman contribute +35 points
Huskies shot a dismal 21% from 3 :-(
DePaul shot 28 from 3 ;-)
Freshman scored 34 ;-(
