It's Senior Night so it will be very emotional indeed but nonetheless here are my top 3 things:

1) Paige and Aubrey announce that they are coming back.

2) Ice to have two great games in a row.

3) We just all take it up a notch as a team and play great team basketball on both ends of the court.

What are yours?

The three things that I want to see are:

1). More of what Ice and Q did on Wednesday night.

2). Balance attack on offense and intensity on defense

3). The starters playing less than 30 minutes.

Another weak opponent, what will UConn do to get better for the tournament?

1. Can Nika really help with needed scoring? 5-7 3s to make the teams play her honestly
2. AE and Ice continue to work together to give them two inside threats
3. Some full court pressure. They will need that to beat bigger teams

1 - a continuation of a spirited yet respectful chat room with civil discourse
2 - a continuation of starters getting rest and contribution from bench in playing time and points
3 - for all BY-ers to be able to stream the game without any oopsies from either SNY or Fox

  • Georgetown is a good defensive team so be ready to battle.
  • Go one game without broadcasters saying..." If Edwards could hit the foul line jumper consistently:.." SHE DOES.
  • KK - show em that midrange game. You got this.

1. Build on the balanced attack that we showed at Xavier!
2. Another double double by BOTH Aaliyah and ICE!
3. All American Stats
3a. Fly in Ash's family and friends to continue the excellent karma!

Focus - leads to better shooting and fewer defensive lapses (Georgetown is not going to roll over).
Consistency (repeat what went well at Xavier)
Have fun (if you let the season become a drag, you'll play like it).

Yes, the Hoyas will play tough, which is often a euphemism for lots of slapping and clawing, and I will focus on the players who could benefit from playing on that environment. Here’s my 3:
  1. Q
  2. Q
  3. Q
I really want to see what she can do in an aggressively played game.

I'd like to see the game, period (as i couldn't watch the Xavier game due to the technical issues of Fox).
In this game i'd like to see:
a. Ice getting another double double.
b. Ash and Q getting their 3-point touch back.
c. Paige and AE to play like the AA's they are.

1 KK to stop trying to drive into three defenders and getting so far under the basket that she is unable to shot or pass.
2 Paige taking shots when she is open.
3 a huge celebration after a decisive victory

Not really, but she has really progressed on her foul shooting by consistently getting some arc on her shot. Needs to translate that consistency to her mid-range shooting which sometimes lacks arc

Maybe, just maybe, we'll be able to actually see the game. That would be nice.

Be nice to see us shoot better 55%/40%.

I really think her biggest issues are shot selection and defensive focus. She doesn't have great defensive fundamental skills and many freshmen are in the same boat. I blame AAU for that having coached in it and seen it. It may or may not be accurate in her case. The thing about shot selection is between the ears. I would like her to move much more without the ball to score in close and shoot more of her pull up. She is good from the arc in the flow, when she is set, and can get up straight vertical. A world of offensive talent but you turn your head on defense you will be turning it on the bench in Storrs.

She hits it as well as most 4 or 5s. And I'm guessing around 40%. That's probably the average for most guards from that area.

1. No injuries
2. Better on the boards. Georgetown smoked UConn in rebounds last game.
3. Continued progression up for Ice/Q
