1. a great 4th Q following 3 great quarters. UConn figuring out how to play without Paige.
2. no more injuries
3. DeBerry getting more minutes, particularly for AE if AE doesn't start to turn it around.
Did I read the box score correctly? AE and Dorka played a combined 50 minutes and scored a total of 2 points, while DeBerry played 8 minutes and score twice as many points? Who should be picking up more minutes?
1. Offensive flow through fast breaks, good ball movement with purpose in half court, and improved shooting %
2. Someone to take control of the offense
3. Hustle for loose balls and rebounds
1. a more upbeat Geno, for the players' sake
2. a more engaging and encouraging Geno during the entire game
3. CD keeping Geno in check so we don't have a repeat of the GaTech postgame
1) I want to see Caroline take the ball to the hoop and once in the lane stop for a pull-up jumper
2) Would love to see UConn set screens for their players both at top of key but also even when dribbling up the court to make it easier for our guards to bring up the ball
3) Would be thrilled if Aubrey can play and hit a couple of shots
1. Intensity. Last game lacked fire and passion, it didn’t look like they really wanted to play.
2. Evina, Christyn, and Olivia all play at their highest possible potential, these three collectively take over and lead the team to a win.
3. I’d like to see amari get in there and do extremely well and geno has no choice but to leave her in the game!
These young players sacrifice so much for this game and I’d love to see them enjoy themselves out on the court. Turn off all the chatter and negatively surrounding the TWO losses this year and just have fun.
Too often we beat ourselves up because we don’t meet our own expectations (or worse—the expectations of others). If anyone on the team actually reads this board I hope they know we love them all no matter what the outcome!! GO HUSKIES!!
USE THEIR HEADS TO:
1. Shoot when you are open
2. Don't allow yourself to be double-teamed when you have the ball
3. Defense: stay between your man and the basket
