The points I'm making are that: 1. She doesn't belong on the list 2. She doesn't always play her best in the biggest moments like you claim. In regards to #1, she is averaging 12.4 points, 1.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.6 steals, and 2.2 turnovers while shooting 34.8% from the floor, 28.2% from 3, and 73.8% from the line. Not one of those statistics puts her as arguable for top 25 player material this season. If she's on your top 25, I'd love to see a convincing argument for why she's more deserving to be on this list in 2021-22 than any single of the following 30 players (in no particular order): 1. Aliyah Boston, 2. Naz Hillmon, 3. Rhyne Howard, 4. Caitlin Clark, 5. Mackenzie Holmes, 6. Nia Clouden, 7. Ayoka Lee, 8. Ashley Joens, 9. Nalyssa Smith, 10. Destanni Henderson, 11. Madi Williams, 12. Taylor Robertson, 13. Khayla Pointer, 14. Elissa Cunane, 15. Angel Reese, 16. Ashley Owusu, 17. Cameron Brink, 18. Kierstan Bell, 19. Elizabeth Kitley, 20. Emily Engstler, 21. Lorela Cubaj, 22. Veronica Burton, 23. Cate Reese, 24. Aneesah Morrow, 25. Shaylee Gonzales, 26. Aijha Blackwell, 27. Aijha Blackwell, 28. Shakira Austin, 29. Jenna Staiti, 30. Que Morrison. In regards to #2, this just isn't true. If you look at her numbers in big games from the last 2 years, here are the ones where she played well (ie. shot over 40% from the floor or scored a lot of points) vs the ones where she didn't play well (ie. shot under 40%, had more FGA than points, didn't score much at all). I didn't factor in other numbers like assists, rebounds, and steals, since they're consistently low in these games. Over 40%/big impact 2021-22 vs. UCONN: 8/17 FG, 17 points (#1 vs #2 Game) 2021-22 vs. NC State: 6/13 FG, 17 points (#1 vs. #4 Game) 2021-22 vs. LSU: 7/15 FG, 17 points 2021-22 vs. Kentucky: 8/15 FG, 19 points 2021-22 vs. Maryland: 5/13 FG, 20 points 2020-21 vs. Stanford: 10/23 FG, 23 points (Final Four) 2020-21 vs. Texas: 7/15 FG, 16 points (Elite 8) 2020-21 vs. Georgia Tech: 6/13 FG, 17 points (Sweet 16) 2020-21 vs. Georgia: 7/16 FG, 16 points Under 40%/little impact: 2021-22 vs. Stanford: 1/9 FG, 2 points (#1 vs. #2 Game) 2021-22 vs. Duke: 3/17 FG, 7 points 2020-21 vs. Georgia: 3/6 FG, 8 points (SEC Championship Game) 2020-21 vs. Tennessee: 5/19 FG, 17 points (SEC Semifinals) 2020-21 vs. Texas A&M: 4/17 FG, 15 points (Game for SEC Regular Season Championship) 2020-21 vs. Tennessee: 5/19 FG, 17 points 2020-21 vs. Tennessee: 6/22 FG, 15 points 2020-21 vs. UCONN: 4/13 FG, 11 points (#1 vs. #2 game) 2020-21 vs. Kentucky: 2/12 FG, 7 points 2020-21 vs. NC State: 4/18 FG, 11 points As you can see, it's very split. She had good shooting games in 9 of them, and mediocre games in 10. I didn't include the Oregon game like you did since Oregon isn't a top 25 team this year despite their initial high ranking to start the year. But if you decided to include them, it's still a 10-10 split. I even highlighted the more significant (bright lights) matchups and it's still split 5-5 for showing up vs. not showing up. She had a string of good games in the NCAA tournament last year but aside from that she has been very hit or miss in games with bigger implications on the line.
