3. Starting 10-0 would have caught the attention of the NCAA.

1. Johnnie Selvie's fault
2. Emily Noonan was sitting courtside and distracted the players
3. Didn't like being so close to Duke in the polls
4. If we went unbeaten, the committee wouldn't send us out west, and we all know what happens when UConn comes out of the West.
5. Letdown after the marquee win over Maine
