Too much stuffing: close games on this Thanksgiving

Nail-biters for ranked teams today outside of routine wins for Baylor and Maryland.

Duke beat Idaho at home by just six. Another big game for Azure Stevens though.

Northwestern, which is now ranked 19th, edged Eastern Washington by four.

George Washington nearly blew a 16 point lead late to...Houston.

Iowa won a close one with Wright State.

Tangentially , I've posted this before, but Uconn holds the wcbb record for "highest lowest" single-game MOV in any season. The record is 11 points over. Baylor in 2014. Every other team, including the other four undefeated Uconn teams, Tennessee 1998, Baylor 2012, Texas 1986, la tech 1981, or any of the immaculata championship teams that went undefeated, have single-digit victories to its credit. No one wins by " only" 11 points. Let's see if the record holds again...

No one was home. Games today were all in destination tourneys - Cancun, Virgin Islands, Bahamas and Cedar Park Texas ("Lone Star Showcase").

Some teams resume home dates tomorrow.

To touch more upon your tangent: I believe the next lowest MOV that year was 15. It was that in the A & M regional final. Then you go to 17 (2 or 3?). Then you go to . . .
