I am still enjoying it immensely. My latest in endless happy result thoughts is this one was experienced by fans in the same way as by players. The "Nobody believed in us' mentality was widespread. AND then we get a rare double bonus in using that while also using the win to prove UConn's worth among the very top bball programs in the country.
That's what makes this win almost as good and satisfying as the 1st National Championship. You need 1 to be in the conversation, 2 is impressive/very nice and 3 may be indicative of a real power (but it was getting hot at right time, your HOF coach is leaving & probation, you have no conference etc..). FOUR National Championships is STFU, this leaves NO doubt, UConn is among the best.
