Poor Providence. I remember Jim Jabir years ago after a game in which UConn pounded Providence into paste after a loss. Jabir complained about the score and said something to the effect that "We were curled up in the fetal position" and UConn just didn't relent. The Friars always seem to get the, uh, sticky end of the stick when UConn loses.

seems unfair for sure. however, PC just upset Depaul so i'm not sure if they are better than they used to be or if Depaul was severely over rated (or perhaps they just couldn't get beyond the injuries?)

That's why in Big East/NCAA terminology for UCONN use, they call the school "providence..."
