I don’t think that’s Tom Penders. I think that’s his nephew the UConn coach Jim although Tommy, in my UConn class, was one fine baseball player, better even than his very good hoop skills.

I knew Tom a little bit. Cocky SOB when he played , but he could back it up. My 3 year roomie knew him very well because he was a high school jock from Stratford and knew the whole Penders familiy really well.
