You guys showed great character and made a valient winning effort. You showed that you can score if given a chance and can play tenacious defense. It's time to believe in yourselves. Don't hold your heads down. Hold them up with pride. You can be a great team.

Respect your coach. He makes mistakes and made a terrible one today. He blew it big time. But, it's time to take up the mantle and become your own men. You have to play and make your own destiny. Don't ever leave the outcome in question and in the hands of the sidelines. You define your destiny.

Respect your coaches. But, challenge them. Don't expect your coaches to manage you out of situations. Be aware of what's happening in the game. Do what you must to win. Mr. Sheriffs, the sideline has no answers. You have them inside. Command your team. You're a competitor with a great instinct to win. Check out of that bad run call. Get your team up and Spike the ball to stop time. Take control. Ask forgiveness later. Be the leader you are.

Respect your coach. But, it's time to respect your own talents, character and abilities too. You are more than a flawed coach and more than the hype coming out his mouth. In fact, its time to carry your flawed coaches forward.

Be confident. Be respectful. Be the winners you are. You've done well. Now, do well for you, for your school and for your fans. We love you.

Unfortunately they can't be their own men, they have to execute the ridiculous game plan from the idiot. It wasn't one mistake, it was a whole bunch of mistakes from their leader who snatched the victory from them. These are good kids and Diaco is a good guy so they will have his back but it's been three years of mismangaing in game stuff and today was the worst I've seen anywhere.

Great post BlueDogs.
Yes, to the boys - We are proud of you. Damn proud. We recognize your hard work, and the improvement is apparent. Very frustrating and disappointing loss, but we know it is not on you. Dwelling on this one will only bring negativity. Put it behind you, keep up the good work, and on to the next one.

Next time, BS, ignore the play called from the bench and do your own thing. You had a feel for what would work - not your idiot coach.

These ones are the worst because the team does everything and the result sucks but is largely not their fault.

That motivated me. Great post! Thanks for helping lift my spirits after a heart smashing defeat!

Safe to say Shirreffs has a better grasp on effective CFB offense than Diaco
