Lack of quickness really hurting him on D. Hit a big shot but he gave up baseline way too easy. His minutes have really been cut lately. Just 5 minutes in each of the previous two games. Roscoe has made the most of his opportunity.

In hindsight that was one of the mistakes this year, giving Tyler Roscoe's minutes. There is a difference between Big East play and the cupcake games. I think Tyler can be ok but he hasn't been the same after that spectacle at the Fairfield game.

Spot on observation. I was telling a good friend of mine the other day that TO is like a AAAA baseball player. Lights up the minors but can't make it to the majors.
For the record, I like TO and believe he is working his tail off to be the best he can. Maybe next year or his senior year he will contribute better.

Tyler's problem is strength. He's not a valuable post player when he keeps getting outmuscled on defense and on the boards.

Tyler is a good offensive player, has a good shot, and he knows he isn't supposed to take the fouls home with him. Leave them on the court.

I'm okay if Tyler plays 5-7 minutes in a game.

I'm okay if Giffey or Daniels (they contribute roughly the same) play about 5 minutes total (only one of them--pick one and stick to it).

I agree with Nelson about AO and AD. AO started really well--two baskets in two possessions. And then...nothing. The guards didn't drop the ball down low, and I don't quite understand why not.

This Roscoe, of the last 5 games, is not just the Roscoe from last year--he's playing like I though a sophomore Roscoe would. He' finally showing improvement. I love that kid, and I hope it keeps up.

I like the way Tyler goes up for rebounds and I wish AO and AD went up the same way.

Tyler came in and tughed out a defensive rebound right away when were getting killed on the boards early. Made a nice jumper......then he let his guy go baseling and Robinson had a real difficult shot but TO compounded the mistake with a reach trying to swat the ball. He may have earned a few more minutes had he not gotten 2 quickies!!!

The baseline foul was not a great play because he had defended that play perfectly up to then after the switch. It is puzzling that TO gets the same 2 foul treatment as Drummond or AO. Do we care if he picks up a third in the first half?

That's Just the way that Jim coaches. 2 fouls in the first half and you sit out.
