Did anyone notice Moriah Jefferson is on the Rising Stars section .. she's one of 9 .. of course lol \
here's what it say's
Moriah Jefferson
It's dangerous to stack any future UConn recruiting class against the Huskies who came before. Of course, this year's top-ranked crew, which includes Jefferson (the country's No. 2 prep) and forward Breanna Stewart (No. 1), has fans tempting fate. At 5-foot-7, Jefferson is eight inches shorter than Stewart, but she's the bigger attention-getter on the court. The slick-handling point guard averaged 21.8 ppg in leading her Texas team to a sixth straight national homeschool championship. Jefferson's nontraditional schedule offers the flexibility for grueling six-day-a-week workouts; when she's not with personal trainers, she's driving herself through ballhandling drills, ripping off moves she's seen Kobe Bryant make famous -- and concocting her own. "I do an in-and-out move, throwing it between my legs from the back while I keep going forward," she says. "People like that the most." UConn fans will no doubt love it.
