"She's been great," said teammate Kiah Stokes, one of three UConn graduates on New York's roster. "She's always in the gym working, she's always trying to make herself better and be more of a threat. What you see now is, instead of just guarding her on the low block, she can definitely hit that 15-footer. She's stepping out to three now … she's trying to do it all just because the more versatile she is, the harder she is to guard. And it also opens up things for other shooters."
