I hate to ruin your day by injecting reality, but the kind of QB we want is not going to come to UConn if we're recruiting 6 QBs a year. Because that guy, if he's going to be in a wide open competition just to be the best in his class, might as well go to Pitt or NC State. We're only going to get that guy by making the right decisions on the one guy in a class we go after.

Because that guy, if he's going to be in a wide open competition just to be the best in his class, might as well go to Pitt or NC State. So that's what BS was thinking when he went to NC State . . . that he was THE MAN and would not be in a wide open competition. Whatever the reasons . . . UConn needs to fix the GD ineptitude at the QB position in particular and the offense in general. No excuses for a a sheet storm offense year after year after year.
