I really don't mean to pile on here, but I think we have been really hurt by the lack of performance at the tight end position. And I don't mean receiving (even though we have gotten very little production in this area from tight ends). It does not appear there are any tight ends on this team who put forth any effort in blocking.
So my questions is, has anything heard anything about our redshirt tight ends that can give us some hope? Coach P said in an exit interview that he believed both Tommy Myers and Quinn Thompson were going to be very good players. Has anyone heard about their performance in practice?
