Moriah does nothing wrong in my eyes!!!! I cannot believe she wasn't worthy of this award.....

Having said that.... and of course knowing it is Dawn's award, Tiffany is a wonderful player.

Interesting how Mitchell and Loyd both gakked in the big spot late yesterday.

And Moriah "gakked" in the ND game in December..... it is interesting that Geno pointed this out in an interview yesterday, stating flatly that "it will not happen again"..... confidence!!!

I wonder if Tiffany will hold her award in her lap while she sits and watches Moriah play in her third consecutive Championship game.

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Down one, Tiffany did a nice job dribbling out the clock at the end of the ND game.

Isn't that what the PGs on the other are supposed to do? :)

Actually, though MoJeff was the only PG yesterday that had a really good game yesterday, I thought Lexie Brown did a creditable job of helping to keep MD in the game for a while. Mitchell had some issues, especially on the most critical play of the night, and ND's Lindsay Allen had a really forgettable night after a string of great Tournament performances.

But the girl from the Lone Star state was the one shining last night.

Don't think Dawn has any voice in selecting the winner of this award so ... it was obviously (based on selected finalists) and offensive 'shooting guard' kind of award and Mitchell was a worthy selection though personally given the criteria I would have gone with Jewel.
