As Atlanta pastes San Antonio. She was the leading scorer. Most of the Dream shot the ball well--56% as a team. The Spurs shot only 38%.

The Dream are off to a great start.

Yeah, her shooting percentage has been a bit low, but she's been getting to the line and shooting well there. She learned to contribute even when the deep rainbow is not working.

Yep - Mil is right. She's certainly been getting to the FT line. Good for her!!!

I was worried for Tiff by that new "no flopping" rule, not because she flops, she doesn't, but she hurls herself bodily into so many plays, I was afraid refs would "read" it as flopping. It seems so far they're getting it right.

She wasn't (isn't) always consistent, but when she got (gets) hot she can put up a lot of points quickly.

Tiff's shooting has picked up of late and she now has her FG% up to 37%. She needs to get it over 40 by improving her 3-pt shooting. Shooting is the only part of her game that hasn't been really good. She's the 3rd leading scorer on a team Dan Hughes calls the best he's seen this year. Her TOs and fouls are down from last year and her rebounding has improved. She's fearless to the basket, makes her FTs and plays tough defense. Overall, her decision-making has been much improved this year. Not bad for a player picked #14 in last year's draft. The Dream announcers talk a lot about her toughness and championship pedigree. It helps that she's on a team that fits her style of play.

The upcoming road trip (includes games at Minn and LA) will be a big test for the Dream now 10-1.
