May be a stupid question, but is there any way to get tickets in the UConn section at Creighton? My wife is a UConn grad. I can't take her to UConn games here in Omaha if we have to sit among the Creighton faithful, because she gets too worked up when the Creighton fans "disrespect" the Huskies.

In her defense we've been living out here for 22 years and her sporting event experiences are with the College World Series and Husker football. Both are almost mystical in their good sportsmanship. So, when we went to the Men's game last year and the Creighton fans showed mild disrespect from the get go, stayed a bit disrespectful as the Jay's pulled out to the big lead, my wife didn't appreciate that. But, when UConn made it's run, the fan base became downright ugly (in her mind) so words were spoken:eek:. I'd rather not have a repeat of that. lol

I believe that on the Women's side of basketball that most fans are good sportsman. There are a few out there that despise UConn, Tennessee is one of them, but most teams are not as bad as the Men's game.

The students are on Break; that might make a difference. I am visiting my son, who lives in Omaha; we will be there (quietly).

You don't get much choice of seating from the remaining tickets if you really want to go.
The few tickets that aren't general admission seem to be more expensive. sold @ Ticketmaster & Seat Geek.
Just take your chances that your neighbors will be nice.

Try calling the Uconn ticket office and inquire about tickets or call the Creighton ticket office.

That may work. Calling UConn. I live in VA and was home a Xmas a few years ago in CT. Game (men's) was against VA and sold out. I called UVA ticket office and got tickets they had that weren't sold.

UConn has nothing to do with tickets at Creighton. The tickets are available through a web site linked at the Creighton ticket office.

I also live out here and this is my second trip to see us at Creighton. Fans last year were fine. This year it’s their second ever sellout for WCBB. Too old (and lazy) to do a sign but if I did it would read something like “We’re UConn…dismiss us at your Peril.”

Don't most schools reserve 50 - 100 seats for the visiting school?? at Gampel they seem to seat those people behind the visitor bench, it appears.
Those are players' tickets they give to their families and friends.

Got 2 tickets in Row S behind the UConn bench. Today's Omaha paper has an article that basically says this is that with UConn's injury/illness woes, the Jays actually have a chance. Hope the Huskies pressure them from tip off to the final horn.

Where did you find the tickets?
