Who is a better offensive player, Paige Bueckers or Azzi Fudd? I know most would choose Bueckers for her efficiency ( 50/40/90) but Azzi's explosiveness can be game changing (See SC game).
My 2 cents. Azzi's quick release from three point range and willingness to take them, Fudd.
Open Court and Pull ups. Bueckers
Getting to the rim ( Quickness with the dribble) Fudd
Overall it's way closer than people think.
What do you think?

On the other hand, you might get some different perspectives over here on the General Boardr.

Fudd has a quick release and if she gets hot from mid- and long-range, she can do you in. And the Uconn system is predicated on getting their best players into the position they can do their thing. Score one for Geno and Paige for making it happen.

In every other facet, I choose Bueckers and it's a pretty easy choice. She's exceedingly talented, both physically and technically, and plays a bit taller than one expects.

My one disagreement with you is that - IMO -- Fudd isn't the better driver: maybe on a straight line to the hoop, but that rarely happens. Then, you go with Bueckers. Heck, I'll throw KK Arnold into the mix.

You can disagree with me, my wife does all the time. Fudd gets to the basket more than Bueckers both right and left. Paige pulls up at 10 feet more often the driving all the way to the basket and rarely finishes going left.
 
Since the title of the thread is Throwing one out . . .

I'm watching D3 quarterfinal with Grand Valley - 35-2 record. Do they have the most wins in wbb?
 
I get your point but as we saw with the Arkansas State vs. South Dakota State games. When Paige doesn't score, she still has a huge impact on the game but when Azzi struggles scoring, she kind of disappears. She needs to continue to find a way to contribute when the shots aren't falling as she has so many other skills.

Bueckers and it's not even close IMO. Fudd is a streaky shooter. Bueckers is a game manager. It's almost like the QB vs the wide receiver. The receiver has to depend on the QB and so does every other player. Bueckers is the QB.
 
Not even close? Fudd's Numbers, 49% shooting from 2's. 45% from 3's and 92% from the foul line.
1% off the "famous" 50/40/90 that Bueckers achieved.
 
Bueckers. Not even close in my opinion. She has that kill factor which Fudd doesn’t have.
