This is Jalen Adams coming out game. He realized he is a scorer not a pg. I want him shooting more and passing less, especially to our bigs. He can get buckets and in a hurry.

I was really down on him early on but for him to have a short memory and come out balling in the second half is really telling. This kid has "it". We HAVE to build on this.

Good thing is he probably won't have that bad of a first half again, and the bad thing is he probably won't half this good of a 2nd half again.

However the good will outweigh the bad. So we are looking good going forward.

Tonight made me hopeful that he will pick up from where he left off at the end of last season.

With no Gilbert and a questionable Larrier, Jalen is our only option to carry the team.

The follow through on his jumped looked pure. That's a good sign.

Need to watch a replay, but seemed like we used less pick and roll and more just "Adams go by your guy" in the 2nd half. Removes the decision-making and bigs catching the ball potential.

His passing sure looked a helluva lot better when it was his 2nd option, i.e. kicking out off a drive. Most of his turnovers were from tentatively initiating the offense and forcing passes around the perimeter.
