Early nomination for dumbest post and crappiest fan of the year award, go cheer for someone else.
 
Kemba had a way of righting the ship when we needed it (with a couple exceptions in February). I still say one of the best examples of what he meant to us was the Cincinnati game in the second round. We came out flat - we were down maybe 20-9 early and it looked like the grind of the Big East Tournament, etc. was going to get to us. He sensed that, and immediately took his energy level through the roof - he made an end-to-end rush for a lay-up, hit a pull-up shot in transition, got a hustle rebound, dove on the floor for a loose ball, etc. All of a sudden, we were right back in it before we had a chance to be out of it. The UCF game was also somewhat similar to a few of the NCAA Tournament games, where we had a big lead (although 10 or so, instead of 17 today), gave it up, and Kemba would step up with a little help from his friends (i.e. Jeremy against SDSU and Arizona). Today other than one deep three from Lamb, we didn't step up.

During this season its been Napier hitting huge shots when our momentum would turn to the opposing team. It just didn't happen today.
 
Too many homers on this site. If you are happy with what you saw right now you are not a uconn fan. Seriously what drugs are you on to say the second half was not awful. Shame on you for criticizing the original post.
 
If the post was that we played awful in the second half, we'd all be in agreement. The post was that the team is awful, which is an over-reaction (in fairness, the post was made during the game when over-reacting is normal). But I don't feel any shame for criticizing it.

I'll call it overreacting ....I usually never post during the games and I don't know why I did today. I just seen us playing so poorly. Team isnt awful but def did play awful in the second half. Apologies to all Uconn faithful. Hopefully we play better tomorrow.
 
It's November - regardless of how awful we played down the stretch today, most of these guys did help us win a national title not so long ago. I'm not ready to spit on them just yet. If that makes me a tool, then I call dibs on one of those adjustable wrenches. I like their versatility.
 
I created a thread during the second game about how we cant hold or build on a lead and everyone jumped all over me. Welllll six games later were still there. Up 17 to down 6 or 7 is absurd. Every game we get up 15 or so and thats it the team always gets it back down to 10. I said it would bite us and here we are

Posters don't like when there is something negative said. I'm sure you didn't say they were awful like I did but they just lack a killer instinct. It makes me feel good when we beat teams by more then 20 for some reason. As my bestfriends are two duke fans and an UNC fan. Can't really boast about this game.

I didnt say anything negative. I just pointed out that every game we have a 15 or 17 point lead that nevers gets any bigger and that we need to learn to put teams away. I understand posters dont like negativity but if were playing like garbage, we should be able to point that out as fans.
