twice at the end of each OT, we had a guy open underneath. Boat missed them each time.
Well, the last time he was triple covered with the clock running out. And, on the one before the clock might have run out if he passed it. It wasn't beautiful but Im not comfortable putting the blame on him because of those 2 plays.twice at the end of each OT, we had a guy open underneath. Boat missed them each time.
If he didnt usually play like that I wouldnt question it. He always plays like that. Napier should have had ball.

I blame Porter and the last second shot. He did what good players do.

Sure, if he didn't have people, you know, defending him. This anti-Boat stuff is really starting to get on my nerves. Do we not have 2 examples over the last 3 years of PG taking a giant leap from soph to junior year? Shouldn't that be enough for UConn fans to hold off on pillorying the kid? What am I missing here?
Oh, and you might try spelling his name right.
Sorry about the extra 'W' in his name. He still is a ball hog with or without the 'W'.

Boatright has to learn that the Boat Show has its place. Dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble ad nauseam drives me crazy as it is and does not win games.
He should be made to watch the Women's team and learn the importance of good passing. Arguably, he lost the game---a game in which this team battled valiantly, never gave up and most of these guys deserved to win.
I hate to jump all over this kid, but he will be a much better player when he learns to play team basketball and sacrifice the glory for the win.

Beat me to it.Boat did make a great pass to Calhoun to tie the game, don't forget that.
In fairness, the announcers didn't even do that.Maybe learn the player's names before you post.
