This Just In: Entire No. Carolina Coaching Staff Placed On Administrative Leave

Is this fall out from the NCAA/UNC academic fraud investigation? The one were UNC got a get out of jail free card.
Or is this totally unrelated, a different can of worms?
Is the women's team staff being held to the same high standards as the men's team?

Destruction of the UNC WBB program is the final step in the master plan of protecting UNC FB/MBB in the wake of the high public scrutiny the university received in the wake of the outing of their fake class/fake grade scheme. To alleviate minimal effects on the football and men's basketball programs, the UNC WBB program got thrown under the bus. Recruiting suffered...players transferred away due to uncertainty and it looked like a bad time was ahead.

Then, the NCAA decision came down and UNC got off pretty good, although there were internal changes and removals of some with important roles related to the WBB program. And it seemed all had stabilized and there was an upward trend and NCAAT berth this year...so it seemed the Tar Heels were working back to respectability. So this news comes as a big surprise unless my conspiracy theory is correct.

I found this on the NC State WBB thread...so take it for what it's worth.

Likewise had been following this over the last several weeks as things were back-and-forth about status around Stephanie Watts ... and had also noticed the four players that were already "out" and would be transferring -- but on the Inside Carolina WBB page there were some indications, as you noted, there were potentially more and it was also noted their medical director (or whatever the title was) had resigned form the team.

Yeah, You got it right @sivad40. UNC has the academic fraud thing in the rear view mirror. The sooner forgotten the better. This seems to be a case of an old coach and young players with different sets of standards, goals and expectations.
Thanks for the info.
