In inheriting Shabazz Napier, DeAndre Daniels, and Niels Giffey from Jim Calhoun, Kevin Ollie is the very definition of a coach who was born on third base. It's one thing to lead a ready-made champion to the national title, it's quite another to construct your own business from scratch. Well, KO, you're on your own now. At some point in every kids childhood, the parents have to take the training wheels off and let a free bird fly. Tonight, Kevin Ollie crashed his old man's bicycle into a mailbox. I just hope the damage costs aren't too expensive for a guy like Shaka Smart to repair.

I love your posts. This shows you don't do sarcasm well.

It is. Champs is well known for 20-page film breakdowns (great stuff), not for being a Chicken Little. He's just inventing a character that is sort of a combination of various other posters. An amorphism or amalgomism of anagram, or whatever you call it.

Nice bit of sarcasm!

Quite frankly, KO can't win without 3 point shooters. I just see one and its Hamilton. Need a minimum of 2 preferrable 3 guys who can knock that shot down.

1) That is breathtaking. Here's my favorite line - "It's one thing to lead a ready-made champion to a national title". Does he had any idea how much a $100 preseason bet on a UConn title paid off last year? I do and it wasn't "ready-made" kinda money. I use money as coasters now.

2) It's bourbon, not scotch. I don't like either one, but bourbon is trendy so I'm making an effort.

3) I like the mixed metaphors, "...parents have to take the training wheels off and let a free bird fly".

4) Four games off of a national title, Kevin Ollie has been cyber-fired.

5) I'm guessing this is a parody.

You're a fool

It proves one thing to me: we have lots of new guys who were pressed. Having not played together, they looked raw & disconnected. They'll get better.

Nobody is going to want to play this team in March. Calhoun or Cassell has to step up as a three point specialist They need to just drift on the perimeter to open spots. DHam will not panic on the press and stop jumping. Brimah gets better every game. Facey making real strides
Hoping Omar and Lubin finally scored off the court.

It is clearly an appellate of different Boneyard posters. Sort of five or six negative Nancies all rolled into one. Or an amalgamate. Whatever it is.

I get that this thread is a joke, but that doesn't make it any less stupid

It makes it much less stupid. But still miles away from smart or funny.

lol Amidah, Facey, Adams, and Enoch are pretty good gets though for Ollie. We will see after Boatright leaves what KO does with 100% of his own players.

This is like when people read a story from the Onion and freak out.
