Great player but we nee him to be as tough as Sio with the swag of Blidi and Gratz to hold this defense together.

he could also benefit from stronger play on his wings - I was under impressed w/the other LBs and am hoping Stewart was simply shaking off a few years of rust under the bright lights.

BTW, I know most folks b and moan about the marketing, but I have noticed a big uptick in trying to market the progam, team and players - this being the most recent example.

Stewart and Donaque need to step up big time from where they were against Towson. They were awful.

Smallwood the best LB we've ever had in the program. Seems like a great kid too.

Definitely to the uptick in marketing. There are a few TV commercials and I heard one on the radio this morning too.

It's the coaching, we abandoned the attack style we had when Don Brown was here and reverted back to read and react. P stated he was afraid of giving up a big play which is mind boggling considering the opponent...we know it's the coaching because even Smallwood wasn't the same, he lived in our opponents backfield the last two years and didn't get any tackles in the backfield vs Towson.

Play the same way tomorrow and we will give up 40......and then it will get ugly in the second half.

Sometimes I see this and say why now? What happened to all this the previous decade? Then, I come to my senses and am happy to see something finally being done.
