Last night's game had a 2012 Ramstein/MSU feel to it. These kids just seemed so together, so committed and so resolute to show that they mean business after feeling like everyone had abandoned them following the clusterfark of the last two seasons.
Tonight should be a big indicator whether they can sustain that level of focus and energy, but I loved the "eye of the tiger" we had last night. I guess I didn't realize how much I had missed it or how far we had gotten away from it until I saw it on display again.
