Did you really think firing PP & GDL was going to solve all the problems?
All the talk of how Edsell left the cupboard bare - PP did a pretty good job of the same.
It will take at least three years to see this program turn around. The O line is thin. The D line needs more big horses. We still don't have a bruising power back to hammer the run game. We need more big and fast receivers and tight ends that are a weapon, not just blockers. This will all take time to develop and to recruit.
Weist is doing the best he can with what he has to work with and what needs to be learned.
