This is fun 2

There is a lot of great insight in this interview. Love the story right at the end with the Patrick on Jordan and his competitive anger, and then Ray talked about how if he played someone in pickup that wasn't used to pro play, the difference in the strength and force those players use in their play is noticeable, which you don't see with pro on pro because their forces cancel each other out. It's insane how good these players are.

It's really a shame the stain left on Ray's career with the fall out of his Celtics teammates. Would've been a pretty flawless career if it weren't for that.

Nevertheless one of the greatest shooters of all time.

Why is that a stain? Ray had a right to evaluate the few choices he had for his work situation. Who cares what some jerks on the team say? And he was happy to forget their criticism later but it seems others want to continue carry a grudge against him. He’s happy, wealthy, and in the HOF.

The real shame is that Ray is thought of as just a shooter by most people. He was a great all around player in Milwaukee and Seattle. A major talent and one of the best 50 players of all time. Even if you disagree with him on the 50 greatest list, he’s top 100 no matter what anyone says. He was far more than a jump shot.

Celtics/Heat Ray was just a shooter.
