I know interest in college hoops wanes as all of the "warm weather stuff" (both sports and non-sports) begins to define our lives. However, I would love to see the 'Yard stay more active than it has ever been. The future of the program on so many levels from the ongoing impact of Susan Herbst to the integration and influence of the new AD to the future of JC to players coming and going to the status of the basketball practice facility to the reconfiguration of the Big East and to the impact of the NCAA on Husky basketball.I'm sure there are things that I missed. Husky 99 has done a wonderful job bringing any and all related news stories here to us every day. I am sure that will continue. But I hope that anything that any of us find to keep the discussion going on all these issues will also be posted here. And I REALLY hope that nobody gets "tired of the discussion" and disengages. As hard as it may be, we have to keep the pro-UConn energy here high and consistently strong. There is just too much at stake! AND, we can only hope that we are treated to some unexpected(or expected depending on your point of view) excitement in the form of Kentucky having to vacate this entire season or "The Traitor Cuse" having to start either next season in the Big East or it's first season in the Puke League with a 15 game suspension for the entire coaching staff for a variety of nefarious activities!
