The perspective of a new morning, reminds me that in the pre-season polls, I optimistically guessed that we would end our season at the final four, having arrived there after overcoming at least two losses. This team way over achieved! They gave it all, all year, and were the most "bang for the buck" squad ever!!

A lot to be proud of, but not a parade. The goal every year is the NC.

We broke so many records and I am so proud of the girls.

No parade. There sure is a whole lot to be proud of this season, though. I think I'm most proud of the class and grace that Geno and his players uniformly exhibited during their post game comments. The way they comported themselves (as Doris would say), under the most difficult of circumstances, often while visibly fighting back tears, was truly inspirational. It's why we love this team so much. It's why they are winners, even though they did not manage to win the game last night.
