What coaches consistently return to isn’t just production – it’s control. Strong dictates games without demanding them. She scores at all three levels, quarterbacks the offense and rarely looks rushed doing any of it.
At this point in her career, the conversation around Sarah Strong isn’t about projection or potential. It’s about what she’s doing right now and how consistently she’s doing it.

Sarah Strong , Future NPOY , Soon to be 2 time AA and back bone of Uconn Basketball is a once in generation Phenom that flashed on to Women's basketball with high praise and expectation, only to surpass those expectation. For 1 and a 1/2 seasons I have been dazzled by her play, the absolute ease she scores from 3 different positions.I am already happy that I can watch her for 2 and 1/2 years more and A remote possibility of a 4- peat ALA Breanna Stewart. With her supporting team members , which is ALL of them, I feel it could happen. This years team is on a mission to prove " there can be only one ". GO SARAH!!!!!! GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When she gets the ball on the blocks, guarded one-on-one, she can't be stopped. Add in the mid-range and the 3 pointers, I haven't seen anyone else in D1 like that. Oh, how about her defense?
One thing she has in common with Blanca is great hands on defense for a 6'2" player who also has power. Her timing on steals is just so intuitive you are almost laughing it's so good.
