The View From Section 241 — WFU

What’s clear to me is the outside zone runs is decoded and Sammis needs a bigger playbook. Evers can throw a nice ball but not with any consistency and is very inaccurate on the move. If he is not a run option , then Fagnano is a better choice… I think.
Evers faced Maryland, Duke, Wake, and Buffalo. Fagnano faced Merrimack and Temple. I was at the Temple game and i watched the recording the other day. If you haven't done so, i encourage you to give it a shot. Good kid from what i hear, but he shouldn't be starting another game. It isn't all that close between the two.

That's fair. I was thinking 50%, so maybe I did over estimate. Do we have an average college number for over 10?
I looked at the individual QB data and here are my estimates for medium and deep passes:

Average for 10-19 yards = ~48% (Evers at 45.8%)
Average for 20+ yards = ~30 to 32% (Evers at 29.4%)

The top college QBs:

Average for 10-19 yards = ~60% (Evers at 45.8%)
Average for 20+ yards = ~40% (Evers at 29.4%)

Evers has played 5 college football games, so being about an average college QB is positive and I would expect him to continue to improve.
