Who will be the next undefeated to be knocked off this list?

Who will be the last standing?

Colorado is the last team standing.
Next up Stanford Friday night.

I will edit this original post as schools drop out.
First out: BYU falls to Oklahoma.
Second out: Long Beach St falls to Oregon
Third out: Youngstown falls to PSU
Fourth Out: Coastal Carolina falls to St. Mary's CA
Fifth Out: Duke falls to a South Carolina
Sixth Out: Tennessee falls to Stanford
Seventh Out : Cleveland St. falls to Loyola Chicago
EIGHTH OUT: Tulsa
NINTH OUT: Nebraska falls to Mich State
TENTH OUT; SCar falls to Mizzou
ELEVENTH OUT: UNC crushed by NC State
TWELFTH OUT: Arizona falls to Southern Cal

My thoughts on the teams I'm more familiar with:

1) BYU vs Oklahoma - this is an interesting one but I think Oklahoma could win this one. They could be a surprise in the Big 12.

2) South Carolina vs Maryland - Initially, with Henderson dealing with an injury, wasn't sure how the guard play would work out. Now, seeing that Coach Staley trusts Amihere and she can do a decent job, I don't see Maryland being able to win this one. I do hope that Reese and Amihere are matched up against each other during the game. That could be fun.

3) Duke vs South Carolina - I don't see Duke pulling this one off. The front court for Duke in this case is what concerns me.

4) Long Beach State vs Oregon - Considering how things have been going for Oregon, could Long Beach pull it off? I don't believe they should, but damn, I don't know which Oregon team we're going to see.

The way this season is going, this is tough. But like, cancontent said, I do not see Duke winning against South Carolina and that Long Beach State/Oregon match-up is a toss up. I like Oregon but you never know what Oregon team is going to show up. I got:

Arizona-W
BYU-W
Coastal-W
Colorado-W
Cleveland State-W
South Carolina-W/W
Oregon-W
Nebraska-W
Lady Vols-W
Tulsa-W
UNC-W
Youngstown State-W

South Carolina has back-to-back-to-back Maryland, Duke, Stanford. Any one of those could pull off "the upset." Thus, I can't pick my team as last undefeated standing. (As others have said, one loss won't hurt us and might ward off over confidence)

I'm gonna predict BYU as first out against a decent Oklahoma squad

Have there been any hints of the team seeming overconfident to this point? I've only seen a few games this season but I didn't get that impression.

Not yet, but the possibility/probability increases with each win.

Love what I saw from Duke against Iowa. Would love Duke to put a loss on South Carolina, but don't see that happening.

No. I don’t think this group will be overconfident, especially against that 3 game stretch. Henderson should be back for the Maryland game. As long as we stay relatively healthy I think we will be ok. We are a great defensive team and with the depth we have at all positions we will just outlast a lot of teams. Rebounding will be the difference.

I don’t see that at all. I think the losses last year have grounded this team. They have one goal and I don’t see overconfidence creeping in with this group. It Doesn’t mean they’ll win every game but it won’t be because they don’t prepare because they don’t think they’ll lose.

I would love to see that happen... if it does.. they might want to ban me from this board before I make it home from the game.

If Duke played UConn and beat them, they'd definitely have to ban you. I don't think most here would mind you gloating about a win over South Carolina though.

Duke beating a Covid returning Iowa at home after 17 days off is one thing, but beating an experienced SC team at home in front of 75 fans...NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

Yes, I threw some shade on the fan attendance and yes, I am unequivocally saying Iowa, when healthy and able to practice, would beat Duke so hopefully in the NCAA, if Duke makes it, can happen so a bet of Frank Pepe's Apizza pie for some Carolina barbeque will occur.

75 fans? SC will bring that many.

I don't think Duke will win, but I seriously doubt it SC will blow us out. It should be a better game than most expect. Got an email yesterday about the game, and it said that limited tickets were still available... so it should be a good crowd.

About Iowa..... they are a good team... I've seen them play a few times last year and this year.... but its not a team that scares me at all. They are no SC, NC State, not even a Louisville. I'd love to face them again...... just to prove people wrong.

Jar? Thats how the amateurs do it. I strictly buy the mayo in the 8oz sleeves

I wonder if North and South Carolina football teams will be given a year's supply for being in the Duke's Mayo Bowl? :p It'll make triaddukefan envious!

That wouldn't be a good thing.... I find myself throwing away more mayo than one would imagine. Just looked in the refrigator earlier... found a unopened sleeve of Duke's... best buy date of 1/10/21

I haven't seen that, but coming off exams, teams can be rusty. We'll see on Sunday.

South Carolina's fans were the largest in attendance the last time they played in Cameron. I would expect the same this time around. They travel well....

I was there both times. They certainly had ton of fans.. But not more than Duke. The first time, the SC fans got there early and filled up the lower general admission seats along the court, before the Duke fans could get them. Close to the microphones so it sounded like it were more SC fans.. And the way the camera angles show Cameron.. It may have seemed like it were more SC fans. There were alot of Duke fans in the upper section. The last time in 2016.. A bit fewer fans clad in garnet and black, but still quite sizable.

I expect less SC fans this time since the game is a Wednesday 7pm tip as opposed to a Sunday afternoon.

I could see this happening in a very low scoring affair. Arizona is likely to fall in one of these poor shooting affairs.

Also, it's sandwiched in between two big home draws in Maryland and Stanford.
