That game goes in the same category as the more recent "pirhanas with blood in the water" game vs. Miss State. That team's talent in many ways throws shade over most other Uconn squades. But . . . even they lost three games, including the National Championship game, in which freshman Taurasi shot 1-15, and the entire team made only 33% of their attempts. True, Abrosimova and Ralph were both injured, but there was enough bench talent to make a better show. A little perspective and patience with this year's team, folks.
